what's this all about?
My name is Dalia David. I am Food Network Chopped Finalist and Wellness Chef.
I design nutrient rich, intentional meals for private clients — and as co-founder of Heritage Space Food, a gastrodiplomacy nonprofit, I’m committed to building stronger public connection to space exploration by humanizing it through the universal language of food and culture.
My mission is to help my private clients make better food choices by creating custom, ingredient conscious menus that support their well being. Each menu is bespoke.
As cofounder of Heritage Space Food, I collaborate with experts across industries to share emotionally intelligent food solutions drawing from traditional, medicinal foods that honor cultural heritage and meet the psychological and nutritional needs of space missions. Our work emphasizes the importance of food as a medium for connection, sustainability, and innovation in both extraterrestrial and terrestrial contexts

some background
Dalia is a Celebrity Chef, Speaker and DEI Facilitator

Growing up on a pineapple plantation in Southern India where our meals were meant to nourish and sustain, I discovered that what we think about how we eat has a profound impact on how we feel about ourselves. I create meals that empower you to make good food choices on your terms.
Recognizing a disconnect between my day-to-day corporate work and my deeper purpose, I stepped away to explore a culinary profession over a decade ago. I studied Plant Nutrition at Cornell University and worked in esteemed NYC kitchens of Jean Georges’ Spice Market, Pure Food & Wine in Gramercy, The James Beard House, and as LinkedIn’s head vegetarian chef out of one of the first ghost kitchens in NYC. I earned my culinary degree from Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC which is now part of ICE (Institute of Culinary Education).
In addition to my current work as a wellness chef and advocate for intentional eating, I founded Heritage Space Food, a media nonprofit exploring the intersection of food, culture, and space exploration. Through this initiative, we make space missions more relatable by integrating in diverse culinary traditions, creating connection and showing the public that innovations designed for space can also help solve critical challenges here on Earth.
